The BED Map
The BED Map is a custom project made for bedtalks.org, a sexual assault prevention through consent education nonprofit organization. We track the progress of Burning Man camps through the BEDucator program and color their addresses at Black Rock City in an automatically updated interactive map.
The BED Map is hosted via GitHub Pages (https://ssdzd.github.io/brc-bed-map/), embedded here in an iframe. The Airtable API is used to load data to show the current progress of camps through the BEDucator program. I made the code open source on Github (https://github.com/ssdzd/brc-bed-map) to maintain the Burning Man Principles of Communal Effort and Decommodification. Check it out and stay dusty.
